Sharon & Scratch at the Avon Vale Hunter Trials (a few years ago!). Scratch was homebred (TB x Cleveland Bay)and has spent his working life on the hunting field with the Mendip Farmers and is now enjoying life with his new 'mum' Veronica up in the North Cotswold country. He is now 21 and still enjoys life to the full. China Blue (see below) is his half sister who is also home bred.

'Time For Herself'. Jenny and Hetty at the Mendip Farmers Boxing Day meet 2004. Whilst running and managing Jenny's Tack Shop and looking after her family, Jenny still manages to find time to enjoy some days out with the Mendip.

Shelby & Katy at the Ponies UK Championships 2005. Shelby has had great success with Katy from lead rein to first ridden and working hunter classes. Shelby and Katy also enjoy show jumping and pony club events and are members of Syston Pony Club.

Blue & Sharon completing a 12 mile ride in 2005. Blue is home bred (TB x Irish) and is now 17 years old. She likes to do everything at speed and is at her happiest galloping and jumping. An old shoulder injury means that we have to be careful but we still like to have fun.

Quinta was a birthday present to my partner from his daughters. This is Quinta & myself a couple of years ago on a 12 mile ride. Pleasure rides are a great way for new horse and rider combinations to 'bond' and get to know each other. We also enjoy doing dressage and a little bit of show jumping although we must try a bit harder to do more of the latter!
